Teaching and Heritage Commission
After more than a decade of working alongside Sports Departments, Department of Culture and the Muaythai Thai Conservation Center, in March 2014 the “Teaching and Heritage Commission” had formally been constituted to further the Martial Arts which constitute the base of the modern sport. The agreement and consequent formation of the Heritage commission will focus the work already started by the W.M.F. giving practitioners worldwide a chance to further their knowledge, skills and dedication to the Martial Arts.
The Executive Board and the W.M.F. Members have concluded that in order to preserve and conserve the Muaythai and the SE Asian Martial Arts a proper council and a permanent commission is needed to oversee, to promote and to teach all of the future and current teachers the true original art.
